It's finally complete! Now to start rough animating this sucker... :P

So this is a work in progress of an animation Im working on, based on this wonderful score written by Thomas Newton for the movie, "Finding Nemo". In case you're wondering, yes, that is Elise in there. Take note that she'll only be seen as kind of a 'sister' to the then-Nicki (Sonic) and has...quite a temper with wanting to protect him from other people, especially her devious godfather, Julius Kintobor (who is known for his hatred of mobians). Behind her fiery temper, however, shines a more gentle demenor... not that she'd ever let that show off in her state of being a princess.

How Nicki/Sonic got hurt, so to say? I'm still planning that out. ><

'Nemo Egg' copyright to Thomas Newton and Pixar
Sonic and Elise copyright to SEGA and Sonic Team

Currently, I work at 24 fps, and generally takes about a day to make the animatic (which is done). Rough animation takes about a few days, the finalized rough animation a week (with inking about the same time).

Coloring would probably be the leangthiest, though- and then there's also the backgrounds. If I worked diligently, it would probably be out by the end of this month.

Thanks, though!

yes i thought it would be a rather time consuming process, as animating usually is. I must applaud you for using 24fps because that's some proper smooth animation whereas some people get lazy and do about 5fps xD Looking forward to seeing the final piece :)

It is, but it's well worth it <3 I love seeing a picture come to life~

Yeah, I've seen animations like that :/... I tend to like doing frame by frame animation, with tweening if really necissary.

Thank you though, again!
